埃及姑娘参加“汉语桥”

“我很喜欢中文，梦想是当一名中文老师。” 诗雨说。

“I like Chinese very much, and my dream is to be a Chinese teacher.”Shiyu said.

今年9月，已从开罗大学毕业的埃及姑娘诗雨将到北京师范大学就读研究生。到目前为止，她已经学习了4年汉语，通过了汉语水平考试HSK6级。

In September, Shiyu, an Egyptian girl who graduated from Cairo university, will go to Beijing normal university for postgraduate study. So far, she has studied Chinese for 4 years and passed HSK6, the Chinese proficiency test.

而最让诗雨感到骄傲的是，今年7月，她作为开罗大学孔子学院推荐的选手，代表埃及到中国参加“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛总决赛，如今已成功晋级全球15强。

What makes Shiyu most proud is that in July this year, she was recommended by the Confucius institute of Cairo university to participate in the “Chinese bridge” finals of the world college students’ Chinese competition on behalf of Egypt. Now she has successfully qualified for the global top 15.

学会中文才有更好未来

Learning Chinese will lead to a better future

诗雨说，还记得在刚学中文的第一周，自己就遇到了发音障碍。“汉语和阿拉伯语在发音方面差别很大。学了一周中文后，我就发现身边有朋友开始换专业。”

Shiyu remembers having trouble pronouncing Chinese in her first week. “Chinese and Arabic are very different in pronunciation. After studying Chinese for a week, I noticed that some friends started to change their majors.”

只要坚持，就总会有收获。确实，在学了一段时间的汉语后，诗雨的进步很快，用她的话来说就是“以肉眼可见的速度飞快进步”。

As long as you insist, there will be harvest. Indeed, after learning Chinese for a while, shiyu is making rapid progress, in her words, “at a speed visible to the naked eye.”
